The student has to arrive at Varanasi Junction which is the main station of Varanasi located in Varanasi cantt. SSB is walking distance from there but they employ buses to take you to SSB.
At first you need only your Identity proof, call-up letter and your journey ticket. Any other document is not required at that time, If you have forgotten any document, no need to panic, as they are required on the next day. Mobile phones are not allowed. If you bring mobile phones they will keep it and return only when you leave SSB either on first day or sixth day.
Day 1 You will fill some forms in testing hall and then you would be taken for breakfast. Then you will be given instructions for PABT and INS-B followed by tests. PABT is once in the life of a person and if you have appeared earlier or your eye sight is not 6/6 then you have to go out of the hall.
After that the will have to undergo screening test. Those who fail will be routed back on the same day after payment of their journey fare and others will be kept.
Day 2,3,4,5 As indicated in your letter.
Day 6 Conference will be short and generally in the morning.
You will be allowed for outing on 2,3,4,5 day with time restrictions.
